Hi, I’m Marissa! I'm an artist located in south Calgary. Ink and Mana is my studio featuring my handpainted artworks. Oil paint is my favorite medium but I also love playing around with watercolors, acrylics, inks, pencils and illustrating. Absolutely no AI is used at any point in my process. It is all a labor of love. When I vend at expos I bring art prints, canvas, stickers, keychains, resin magnets and various other trinkets featuring my artwork. I also bring foam D20’s and mystery dice designed by (and made exclusively for) Ink and Mana’s sister company, Dicebound. If there are any restrictions on sister company items at your show just let me know and I won’t bring them!

Overwater Media

Rick Overwater is a Calgary-based comic creator. His graphic novel, Futility: Orange Planet Horror was nominated for best graphic novel by the Canadian Science Fiction and Fantasy Association. His comic story, The Continuing Adventures of Canada the Goose, illustrated by Dario Carrasco (Alpha Flight, Star Wars), came out in the award-winning Renegade anthology Home, in 2022. In 2023 Rick published The Dim Beneath the Lights, integrating comic art and novel-style prose. His indie comic, Son of a Bullfighter’s Ghost combines music and comics and was released in 2024. His latest work, Sky Devil and the Haunted Air, drawn by award-winning comic artist GMB Chomichuk is available on Stranger Fiction press.

FAQ

How much is a vendor booth?
For 2026 our vendor booths are $125 ea.
What is the cost to attend the show?
There is no charge for entry. We do have the veterans food bank in attendance so bring donations for the food bank to get extra entries into our draws.
How much is a artist booth?
For 2026, the artist booths are free!
What is provided for me in a vendor booth?
Two 6' tables and 2 chairs per 10'x10' booth.
Can I have more than one artist table?
No. Each artist gets a maximum of one table.
Can I make a special request when applying for my booth?
Yes. They can be entered in either the artist or vendor applications. However, special requests will be considered and is not guaranteed to be allowed.
What is provided for me at an artist table?
You will get one 6' table and two chairs. You are required to provide your own table skirt per the terms and conditions of the show.
How long before I know if my vendor or artist application has been approved?
The first wave of applications will be reviewed in early 2026. Only artists or vendors that have been already approved will appear on the website. If you have been rejected, you will get an email letting you know. If you haven't gotten any email, double check your spam or your application is still in the review process.
Do you accept food vendors?
No. We will not be accepting food vendors at our upcoming event. Instead, we will prioritize supporting the on-site concession stand and fully licensed eatery.
I didn't get confirmation of my application?
Please check your spam/junk folder as it may of gone there (if the correct email was entered in the application).
I think I made a mistake on my application (wrong information, etc)

Is there food available onsite?
Yes! There is a commissary on the same floor as the event and the 56 Restaurant and Lounge is available downstairs by the curling rink entrance.
I saw on [insert social media platform here] that you are still looking for vendors - where do I sign up?
If there are no buttons above to apply, there are either no spots left or applications have not started yet. Also - do not pay anyone on social media mmkay?
Can I setup my booth the day before?
No - vendor/artist setup only happens the morning of.
